About Me

Gosteloa Spancer is a versatile screen and stage actor from Singapore, based in London, with nearly a decade of experience in leading roles across English and Tamil television, film, and theatre. He began his journey in Singapore before further honing his craft by pursuing a Master’s at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His goal has always been to expand his artistic toolkit and contribute to greater South Asian representation in British television.

Among his notable works, Spancer starred in Mediacorp Vasantham’s local drama NAAM (Seasons 1 & 2), which became the channel’s most-watched drama and garnered over 1 million views on YouTube. It is currently streaming on Netflix. He also had the privilege of starring in the acclaimed short film Dark Light, which earned second place at Zee Tamil India, second place at the Viddsee Juree Awards in Singapore, and the Best Actor award at the NYFA 7th Film Awards.

Spancer is also the host of the engaging travelogue series Streets Like This for Channel News Asia, which has aired on Singapore Airlines and received international attention in the travel media space.

In theatre, Spancer’s recent lead role in Checkpoint Theatre's highly successful production Brown Boys Don’t Tell Jokes has helped solidify his reputation as a dynamic and multi-talented performer. He is grateful for the opportunities to continue learning and growing in his craft and remains committed to bringing diverse stories to audiences.
